Feeding Therapy

Aimed to help all selective eaters! Feeding difficulties can be stressful for the whole family, let us help!

What is a selective eater?

  • Difficulties with feeding for up to 2 years

  • Strong preferences of taste, texture, and how foods are prepared

  • Restricted number of foods he/she will eat (20-30 foods across all nutritional categories)

  • Avoidance of new foods

What does feeding therapy look like?

Willow’s therapists are trauma informed and ensure that we are creating only positive experiences around food. We take the lead of the child, help them move foods up 32 steps to eating while they learn, explore, and enhance their sensory discrimination skills. Parents are taught strategies to use with their child on a daily basis to ensure continuous growth.
